The Pochettes matelassè are hand-printed with the blockprint technique and are an indispensable to always carry with you and to slip into your bag. They are very practical and are available in two formats. You can arrange all your things, documents, money, telephone, glasses, etc. and use the larger format as a beautiful hand clutch.
The Pochettes are handmade by a small family atelier in Jaipur in India with which we have started collaborating. Starting from the fabric that is printed by hand following the ancient Indian blockprint technique. This technique is quite complex, to imprint the fabric we use blocks of wood engraved by hand by skilled craftsmen and natural dyes.
Once the final design of the fabric has been chosen, the different blocks are used to imprint the background, the outlines of the designs and the various colors inside the designs and everything is done by hand.

Material: hand-printed cotton sewn with the matelassé technique. Due to the handmade nature, we recommend hand wash or cold delicate in the washing machine. However, the first wash should be done by hand with half a glass of vinegar.
